Caribbean Food Restaurant — Restaurant in Eemsdelta

The food was ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. I had some fries with chicken and a johnny cake with ham and cheese. It wasn't greasy, it was tasty, the fries garnished with chives were soft in the middle and crispy on the outside with no bitterness from old oil. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy but the highlight was definitely the johnny cake. It's delicious, hearty, simple food done perfectly and I'm going to crave another one in the future.

The service was also stellar. The lady at the counter speaks both dutch and english and has menus in both languages as well.

Don't get discouraged about the atmosphere, it's kind of dark inside and the "tropical paradise" designs don't really work as a result but the place is clean and comfortable. They seemed to be working really hard with what they have.
