Pizzeria La Vita è Bella — Restaurant in Eindhoven

We were here on a Sunday evening with our toddler and baby. It took a good 20 minutes before someone came to take our drinks order. And another 30 minutes before they came to take our order for food. In the meantime the toddler got super hungry and I had to take her to the car to give her some snacks and take her walking so she could forget that she was hungry. While ordering the food we asked how long it would take till the food arrived and he said it takes 15-20 minutes.

We somehow kept the toddler entertained while waiting and then the baby began to cry because he wants to sleep. It's been an hour and 15 minutes since we entered the restaurant and still no food. The food finally arrives at 20:25( 1 hour and 30 minutes after we entered).

We eat really fast and ask for the bill to be given quickly because the kids are really tired and we're desperate to get out of there. He says ok, but then goes to attend to another table who had just entered, bringing them their drinks and the menus while we had to wait a good 45 minutes before we got the menus in our hands.

Super slow service and absolutely no consideration for people and their needs. Having to wait for the bill when we told them how desperate we were get out was really the last straw. Never setting foot in the restaurant again or recommending to anyone.

While the food is Ok; they are way too inconsiderate for us to go back there. Absolutely bismal service. An evening...

When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the most lovely people. The service was really amazing. They let us know they had a special 8 course dinner, and as we were only 3 people it sounded like a great choice to try new food that was not on the menu. We got 2 entrees and one of those was a salty and pungent focaccia. It was delicious. After that, it was pizza after pizza. Spinach with anchovies, truffle with mushrooms and pancetta, tuna and mozzarella, pizza frita.... All things that scream italian cuisine. Some of them i really loved, and others were flavours that i had never tried so I was really blown away by some of the items. The last course was a sort of sweet roll with chocolate that I was not a big fan of and, to be fair, I was to full to eat, but it didn't affect the overall experience. Hello! I visited sometime in the summer but google prompted me to review you now. I was going to let this go but Since you asked, here goes.

I found the service a bit hostile to me and my family as compared to other Dutch customers. The owner walked up to each and every table to ask about the food , except ours. And this happened to us on both our visits. I would call it a coincidence till the following incident happened.

We wanted to have an icecream and try out the flavors (like any other icecream shop) however the owner got annoyed and refused to offer the tasting. We still got the icecream but had a bitter ending to our evening. Not sure if a Dutch customer would have been treated the same way.
