Café-Restaurant Nobel — Restaurant in Gooise Meren

We had dinner at Nobel on Saturday, March 22. We booked a table on the website during the day and easily found a place for three. The restaurant is very conveniently located, underground parking is 150 meters away. The restaurant itself is very cozy: not big, tables are not too close, the music is not loud. The drinks menu was brought in a couple of minutes. We were pleased with the selection of non-alcoholic cocktails (for example, with non-alcoholic gin). The main menu is not large, but it is composed competently. It is clear that each dish is chicly thought out. The oysters are quite large, served with onions marinated in wine vinegar. The sea bass from the main menu is cooked perfectly, the picky eater ate it with pleasure. A large portion of steak is really big. The meat is excellent. We were also pleased with the desserts: the chocolate truffles are excellent, not too sweet, moderately bitter. We hebben vanavond bij NOBEL gegeten. Wat een SCHANDE. We hebben geen voorgerechten besteld met de gedachte dat we genoeg zouden hebben aan een hoofdgerecht. FOUT! De hoofdgerechten waren zo klein dat we uitgehongerd waren! We sloegen het dessert over en gingen uiteindelijk naar Irene's voor een ijsje want hun prijzen absurd hoog waren . Dus twee glazen wijn, water en twee belachelijke kleine hoofdgerechten voor 65 euro (!!!) Bij aankomst thuis hebben we een broodje gegeten!
