La Cubanita Bussum — Restaurant in Gooise Meren

Coming to an all-you-can-eat restaurant, I had questions. The price seemed too reasonable. Was the food quality okay? Not just defrosted “borrelhapjes”? Would the service be too slow to make it worthwhile? Would there be extra house rules limiting us from ordering what we actually wanted?

Happy to say that there are no caveats and this place is fantastic. Highly recommended. The only limitation is on placing orders - two items per person and a minimum of ten minutes between orders. This place is fun if you have the right expectations. I like their decor style and service is very fast and friendly enough. Food is not exactly haute cuisine, but still tastes good and the fun of it is all the different little things you can try (all you can eat). Not a good place to go when you are on a diet lol, but I know vegetarians are very satisfied with their options here. They have a large assortment of cocktails for a nice price too. Ik heb mij laten vertellen dat deze Cubanita in Bussum de beste van alle La cubanita's was..

Als deze La Cubanita de beste is hoef ik de rest niet te bezoeken want ik vond het allemaal maar een beetje medioker..

In de keuken stond ook alleen maar jong personeel, als dit jonge personeel mediterrane gerechtjes moet maken komt dat niet ten goede van de smaak sensatie mijn idee. Allemaal standaard smaken.. De biefstuk puntjes bijvoorbeeld waren taai smaakloos en gewoon niet te eten, inktvisringen bijvoorbeeld waren zéér matig, de zalm was raar van kleur en was papperig. Heb ook het idee dat al deze gewoon uit de kweker komen en uit de vriezer. Ik heb zelf een gedegen horeca ervaring dus ik denk dat ik weet waar ik over praat.

Het is jammer dat de smaaksensatie gewoon niet goed was het concept is wel in orde maar dan moet het wel goed uitgevoerd worden.

De inrichting straalde geen La Cubanita uit..het had net zo goed een Italiaans restaurant of wat dan ook kunnen zijn. Er werd Hollandse muziek gedraaid, amper mediterraanse muziek gedraaid en dat helpt dus ook niet voor de sfeer.

Als ik iets positief moet zijn was het de bediening. Personeel dat bediende was jong maar deed het wel leuk.

Deze La Cubanita zal ik persoonlijk niet nog een keer aanraden Zelf zal ik vast nog wel een keer naar een La Cubanita gaan maar niet die...
