Spaghettiamo — Restaurant in Gooise Meren

We've always avoided this place, and if they don't change their stance on children, you should too.

Upon arrival, we asked for a table but were frowned upon, no reservation, empty place but they were quite reluctant to offer us a crammed space not suited for a family with 2 small children. When we enquired for the children seat, the main waitress (probably) just said 'over there', she seemed more concerned with her make-up and hair (that she was visibly fixing every few minutes in a mirror at the counter) than being polite and friendly to guests.

Pasta is ok, but far away from good. There's a lot better places around.

The best pastas and risottos in town LITERALLY!! Made with passion and generosity, real italian taste. The menu seems like a few and not much variety but really those few are more than enough ;) Not much of other meat/chicken plates maybe just one entercote but again remember you are there for the pasta :D A nice drink selection, good location very easy to find, 3 minutes walk from the train station. The staff is very friendly. I totally recommend you...

You get: Albert Heijn pasta and sauce OR Raw pasta In addition, the staff (the two young ones) cannot handle a few tables without saying “F*” every five minutes and banter with their friends chilling in the restaurant. I’d describe it as a teenage hangout. Ultimately, you wait for ages for your drinks because they simply forgot, get the menus thrown at you and then thrown back to the basket which makes the atmosphere purely uncomfortable....
