The place was very overstimulating. Granted, there was a performer making music for the elderly people but this was next to the restaurant and the walls, separating the two places are bookshelves so it did nothing to reduce the sound. It was also not clear to me beforehand that there's more here than just the restaurant so I didn't expect it. The seating in the restaurant was nice but since it was so loud I couldn't really enjoy it. Also the food was mediocre, manky the sidedishes were rather bland. It's a great restaurant outside of the city centre. Elegant, and spotless. The kitchen is open from 11-21, lunch and dinner. All the dishes are well prepared, mostly self-made. Via de AH-restaurantactie zijn we hier terecht gekomen. Absoluut geen spijt van gehad. De ontvangst was al erg prettig waarbij onze jassen werden aangenomen. De rest van de bediening bleef ook top. Echt verstand van de gerechten. Als je een vraag had over het menu wisten ze ook het antwoord. Heb ik niet vaak meegemaakt. Dan het eten. De kaart was voor deze specifieke actie iets beperkter maar kwa niveau zeer zeker niet minder. Wat geweldig lekker eten. Ik had paté vooraf met als hoofdgerecht kalfsucade op risotto. Erg lekker en dus aan te bevelen. Als nagerecht had ik de stoofpeer. Ook weer een supercombinatie. Mijn vrouw had juist andere gerechten gekozen en ook die vielen in de smaak. Alleen vond ze de pannacotta niet erg smakelijk. Klein minpuntje op het geheel. De herfst was begonnen en zo ook was het menu op de herfst afgestemd. Dan is er nog de inrichting. Lekker modern maar daarmee gelukkig niet kill. Zeteltjes zaten erg lekker en de verlichting was erg aangenaam.
