It was a spontaneous visit, without a reservation. We were able to sit on the veranda right by the water. The outdoor area was cozy, and the restaurant was busy that evening. The service was very good, attentive, and always there. Special requests for our food orders were accommodated. This is an almost hidden jem. The location is superb right alongside the Zandvaart canal. Sit outside and watch the wildlife. We saw a family of water fowl and a pair of crested grebes. You may also see some small pleasure craft cruising by, the boats we saw were all moving at a sensible speed. There is a larger, more formal, indoor area. My husband and I stopped here at about 10PM. Lovely place by the canal, with swans passing by. Good interior and atmosphere inside too. Service is wonderful, eg the waitress of Asian origin and the waiter who is of Moroccan origin. Kind, patient, friendly and happy service.
