La Perla Ristorante — Restaurant in Helmond

First time Italian in Helmond and it wasn't a bad experience. The restaurant offers to eat outside or inside, both have a difference place of view. Outside it's very light and you have a good view. The inside of the restaurant gives a "Greek Historic" vibe, also it's quite cosy and dark. We had to wait about 40 minutes before our food arrived, probably because it was rush hour. There will be some bread with spread during the wait so it's fine the waiting time, you get some time to spend talking with friends or family. The food is good, I had pasta with tuna in tomato sauce and my friend had pasta with salmon. We were both satisfied with the food. On Monday there is a discount on all pizza's and on Thursday on all pasta's. We paid about €20 for 2 meals, so it's fairly cheap.

Overall it's a good place in Helmond to get Italian food with friends or family. The only con would be the waiting time...

Average but decent restaurant. Friendly staff and they order pretty fast and everything at the same moment although we where with a group of 13 people! The taste of the pizza is good although the ingredients are from the can. You recognize directly. Goed eten tegen een eerlijke prijs (in mijn optiek goedkoop). Er is een pizzadag en pastadag waarbij je nog goedkoper eet. Het pand maakt dat het knus is en tafels wat beperkt dus reserveren is aan te raden. Afhalen kan ook meestal snel genoeg klaar en de hoeveelheid pasta die mee krijgt is ruim. Broodjes met kruidenboter terwijl je op je bestelling wacht. Voor de beperkte keukenruimte die er is, iser toch een ruime keus (ook aardappelen vlees en groenten voor de kaaskoppen onder ons). De desertkaart is met name doorgaans gekozen artikelen, maar het is tenslotte geen ijssalon. Het pand ligt aan het havenplein waar je bij goed weer ook buiten kunt eten. Wil je hier gebruik van maken vermeld het wel even indien je reserveert. Rolstoelgebruikers opgelet. Het eerste deel is toegankelijk om een tafel te nemen maar het tweede deel is verbonden met een klein kort trapje en voor de rolstoel dusniet toegankelijk (toilet dus ook niet). Wil je iets anders dan het op het menu vermeld staat benoem het even er is mogelijk wel wat te regelen. Verwacht hier geen hele avond na te tafelen er is voldoende animo om de tafels 2 maal te vullen op...
