Maybe it was an off day for the team but the food is overpriced for the quality you receive. It is a gorgeous setting but we had to wait an hour before food was served. We ordered the foie gras nigiri and the unagi nigiri and received the latter as a futomaki, which is almost 3 times the price of the nigiri. We also had asked for tap water and got a bottle of water instead. It felt like they were pushing for pricier items but it could have been a mistake. 26€ for a regular Thai green curry is madness especially when they forget to bring the rice that goes with it. The soft crab futomaki is kind of ruined by the oiliness of the tempura which is a pity, but I have to say that the unagi futomaki was good compared to the rest. Ik zal mijn ervaring met u delen

We kregen eerst een voorproefje, maar er viel helaas niet heel veel te proeven. Ik vrees echter dat het een “kip” spies was, kleiner dan een kip nugget, verdronken in een bruisend bruin papje, wat de niet thuis te brengen smaak van dit vlees mysterie hoopte te verbergen. Dit fiasco maakte een verontrustende eerste indruk.

Waar zijn we in vredesnaam mee bezig?

De sushi, waar ik mij overigens op verheugde, was zeer matig. Er was veel te veel saus en andere poespas op gegoten. Absoluut niet de kwaliteit die je verwacht voor de brutale prijs die je ervoor neerlegt, ondanks de nette presentatie.

Ook werden we te vaak voorzien van verschillende soorten groenvoer, zoals veldsla en ijsbergsla die als opvulling fungeerden voor de krokante maar zeer flauwe voorgerechtjes.

Deze gerechten maakten allen deel uit van de “proeverij” die netjes gepresenteerd werden, maar met gebrek aan smaak en pit die ik hopelijk toch kan verwachten van een “oriental” restaurant.

Naast al deze heftige aandachtspunten, moet ik eerlijk zeggen dat de bediening erg vriendelijk was....

Food is ok, personally doesn't match the expectations that the price + the nice atmosphere give. Salmon is ok, but serving surimi and a KFC chicken inside an Uramaki is not the best. Tuna didn't have any taste, maybe I've been unlucky with the night? Service is welcoming and friendly, but a bit unprepared still regarding the atmosphere and...
