GrandCafe Waddengenot — Restaurant in Het Hogeland

The staff is super friendly. The drinks are okay. The large coke, not that much, way to much ice so it dilutes the coke too much. You get it served in a massive mug which is diffucult to hold. And they didn't provide a straw, so every single sip the ice would hit your teeth which is not that pleasant of a feeling.

We wanted to move to the other side of the road to get a pizza, but the staff told us the kitchen is closed and they no longer serve there. Only drinks in the weekend. Other then that its closed.

Went with a steak and chicken piri piri instead. This wasn't the best idea. Asked for a medium steak, and it came out almost well done. Didn't have a lot of time so my boyfriend ate it anyway without sending it back. I did let the staff know that it wasn't good. It looked great though, but it was way too tough. The taste was fine, but just way over cooked.

The fries we got tasted dry, almost like they have been sitting there for 5 mins before they got served. The rest of the side dishes were fine.

All and all this was pretty expensive, we paid 61 euros for 2 main dishes and 4 drinks in total. I find this quite a lot for what we got. We both did not finish our meal.

Its a shame the pizza side is no longer open and they also do not serve...

The pizza wasn't tasty at all, the cheese wasn't real cheese. And the were to sign of oregano or something else that could give our Margheritas a little bit of taste. And because we couldn't find the pepper we tried some salt on it, but the success wasn't a big deal. In the end we cannot recommend this pizzeria. In addition the price were quite heavy. My recommendation is to visit the 't appeltje 500...

Heute Abend dort gegessen. Freute mich auf Pizza. Meine Pizza: Grand Veggie Pizza war ohne Salz oder Pfeffer. Ohne Geschmack. Das Gemüse war teilweise roh! Ganz viele rohe rote Zwiebeln. Keine Kräuter. Die Pizza meines Mannes Pizza mit Capacio schmeckte weil das Fleisch eine eigene Geschmack hatte.. Nachdem ich erst Salz, dann Pfeffer auf mein Pizza streute könnte ich etwas essen... ich fragte für Balsamico. Das half auch etwas... Als ich der Bedienung sagte das meine Pizza wirklich schlecht gewesen war und ich deshalb kaum was davon essen könnte, sagte sie das es die Pizza ist die ich bestellt hätte. Das es nicht gewürzt ist und das Gemüse nicht gekocht\gegart wäre, das würde alles so auf der Karte stehen... Ich versuchte ihr zu sagen das ich nicht sie kritisiere, sondern das Essen... Trotzdem den volle Preis von mehr als 15,- € für diesen Pizza...
