After much persuasion from a colleague raving about their "really great burgers," I finally decided to visit this much-touted spot after Ramadan. It's not often that I venture "onder de rivier," but for the promise of good food, I cover any distance.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a small, yet remarkably lovely and cozy setting, which was further enhanced by the warm-hearted welcome from the crew. It was evident from the start that the staff here work with a passion that spills over into their customer interactions, making for a very pleasant pre-meal chat.

Now, onto the main event—the burgers. I opted for the double cheeseburger and the bacon boss with a side of fries. As someone who prides himself on his hearty appetite, I was still taken aback by the generous size of the burgers. Started with the bacon boss and I wish there was no end to it. It was so rich in flavour, such a majestic burger. Next came the double cheese, a perfectly juicy burger that made each bite a joy to savor. The fries also deserve a mention; they were delightful, exactly how fries should be.

Very good option for hamburgers! They have a few tables inside, not many, just enough. Very friendly staff, always smiling and supportive. Ingredients are clearly high quality, and the preparation is great. The buns are soft and always fresh, as you can see in the my picture. Prices are very good for the amount and quality of the food. A menu with fries and drink is around 10 euros, and a single burger is usually enough for most people. I would not give the five stars because there’s an specific spice or ingredient in the burger ( which I don’t know) that is not 100% aligned to my taste. So sometimes I prefer other options. We ordered Sultan Burger. I told them that I am egg allergic. Fortunately, they did not have egg in their meat and they have gluten free bread, which does not contain egg.
