Grand-Café De Zwaan — Restaurant in Hilvarenbeek

We arrived late on Easter Monday having stay at the Beeks beegen safari hotels.

We had tried two other restaurants and unfortunately they were closed.

We fell upon this restaurant and the people who worked there could not have been more polite, friendly, accommodating and helpful. We had steaks and the children had chicken and fries with salad.

All of our food was as beautiful even though they had closed their kitchen.

They offered us a photograph of us as a souvenir from our trip and have the children a chocolate Easter bunny.

I cannot thank them or recommend them enough.

Excellent restaurant in the pretty town of Hilvarenbeek, about 10kms south of Tilburg. 10mins off the A58. We enjoyed a light lunch, fish platter with fish soup, homemade bread, home smoked salmon. Served promptly and efficiently by English speaking staff. Spacious interior, level access off the street, no steps inside. Clean modern loos, with disabled toilet. Our second visit. We ate here 4 times over 2 days as loved it that much! Fab coffee and pastries on a morning, and absolutely delicious dinner. The yellow Thai curry was up there with the best, great satay chicken, and amazing mango cheesecake. Super toasties in the daytime. Friendly and efficient service and dog friendly too. Good value, great atmosphere in a lovely village setting....
