We randomly stayed en-route to Hoek Van Holland at Herbert Sint Petrus. What a find...! It was Saturday night and we were so lucky the patron found us early eating space such that we had the opportunity to sample their amazing menu. It’s no exaggeration to say the menu quality is Michelin standard... Strongly suggest booking in advance of arrival via their own website. Great WiFi speed. Breakfast excellent and lovely ambiance. Previous reviews reference the nearby church - The clock strikes on the hour, but must have been ‘silenced’ as the noise wasn’t intrusive. Read moreNeeded a place to stay near Tilburg and Eindhoven for one night. This was a much better choice than the standard business hotels along the A58 and A2. Central location next to the village green of Hilvarenbeek with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. This hotel has 7 rooms. Although the restaurant underneath closes at 10 pm, your key gives you 24 hr access through the back entrance. Rooms are small but comfortable, quiet, and ideal for a short stay for one or two persons. My room was spotless, nothing to fault. The price included a continental breakfast buffet with a wide selection of ham, cheese and jams. Warm croissants. Great coffee. Very friendly, helpful staff....
