Poseidon — Restaurant in Hollands Kroon

A totally inconspicuous restaurant.

Pro: The plate looked good. It was open when everything else was closed. The waitress was nice/polite to us.

Cons: You could barely taste the garlic in the Tzatziki. The meat of the gyros plate had seen way too little time facing the barbecue. Therefore, it was greasy and not crispy at all. Why?

This place is not so bad but - if at all - good in no way you would...

Very rude behavior. I called to ask information to order and pickup food and the woman that picked up the phone answer to me: “we are busy and I don’t want to talk. Bye bye”. She hanged up right after. Very surprise to receive such a greeting. Certainly won’t order from...

Wir waren im Rahmen unseres Urlaubs spontan dort – und das sogar recht spät, etwa eine Stunde vor Ladenschluss. Trotzdem wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Mitarbeiterin sprach Englisch und sogar sehr gutes Deutsch, was den Besuch für uns noch angenehmer machte.

Das Essen kam schnell, die Portionen waren groß und sättigend, und geschmacklich hat es uns absolut überzeugt – es war wirklich sehr lecker!

Das Ambiente erinnert eher an einen klassischen Imbiss – etwas in die Jahre gekommen und stilistisch bunt gemischt. Aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau, denn: Es war sauber, das Team war freundlich, das Essen top – und die Preise absolut fair.
