La Place — Restaurant in Horst aan de Maas

Twice now, we have arrived at La Place when there were absolutely no customers in front of any of the counters but each time, the employees looked down, did not move to greet us and after ten minutes of waiting, finally being told they were busy, both in front the pizzas and, after giving up here, in front of the beef frying area, we gave up and left. Went across the roundabout to Turhoeve, where service was quick, people were smiling and friendly and food delicious. Oh do we miss the Domino which was there before where everyone was nice. So, in short: DON'T GO TO LA PLACE - GO TO TURFHOEVE...

At first glance everything looks amazing and fresh, but when you actually get to eat it it feels like everything is just coming from a frozen wholesale box. That doesn't necessarily means that it is bad, but just be aware that it is not a healthy home-cooked meal and that most ingredients on display are just for the display.

The pizza I had was fine as well as the salad we had and some cheesbread. No tosti or something basic like that available, which is a bummer.

Paying a lot of money for the toilet is ridiculous. And it's not even...

My dissatisfaction has been growing for a number of weeks. My wife and I have been coming to La Place Sevenum at least once a week for a long time. Gradually, however, we see the service decrease ..... The diversity and quantity at breakfast is getting less and less. The level of staff is becoming less and less. Young girls who are not well-trained, have insufficient knowledge of the procedures and how to deal with regular customers. La Place is no longer La Place since Jumbo took over the organization.
