Wow ! They love their job, they love what they do and you feel and taste it. We were lucky to get a table without reservation. ++ Great food ++ Great wine recommendation ++ I love surprises ++ Highly skilled team -- You need time to enjoy this. We had not enough time to taste the full 7 course Menue We passed the village Horst on A73 on the way from Mönchengladbach to Nijmegen. The restaurant is easy to find and navigate. They speak Dutch, English and German. You feel very welcome ! Not cheap but worth the price. But everything is hand-made and all fresh. All tasty. Not crazy. A allover nice dinner experience. Na de folder en op het internet gekeken te hebben hadden wij ons verheugd op een lekker verrassings diner.

Maar dat werd een groot fiasco.

Meestal kun je niet zien wat er in de keuken gebeurt, maar bij hun consept open keuken dus wel en dat hadden ze beter niet kunnen doen.

In het voorgerecht van mijn partner zat 1 stukje plastic folie wat er absoluut niet in thuis hoort.

Vlees word een half uur voor dat het moet worden opgediend gebakken en dan ergens neergezet.

Wat warm moet zijn was nog niet eens lauw, groentes waren meer dan beet vast, hoofdgerecht was idem ditio wat absoluut zonde is van het stukje vlees.

Dit hebben we uiteraard ook kenbaar gemaakt De serveerster heeft zich tig keer verontschuldigt terwijl zei alleen maar serveert.

Wat ik het ergste vond dat bij de tweede fout het HOOFDGERECHT de kok niet eens zelf de moeite nam om zich te informeren bij ons of zich te verontschuldigen.
