Boca Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Houten

Food was okay but sparse and expensive. Avocado brood is one slice of bread with half an avocado on it and a bit of tomato + burrata for ~13 euro. The bread was quite packed, so they better could have done 2 slices. Vegetarian options are quite sparse as well. Service took quite some time, even without the cafe being at high capacity and when asked for water for the dog they said it's no problem but then did...

It's the best restaurant !! It was delicious no matter what I ate. This is a bar / restaurant that you should definitely stop by when you come to Houten. There are also terrace seats, so you can relax. The staff are all kind and wonderful. I'm Japanese, but "Tataki" was very delicious. There are many fake Japanese foods, but this one was real !! I was glad that the staff also greeted me in Japanese....

I concede that one books to eat but my husband and I just wanted to enjoy a drink or two. Alas, we were pushed inside in the heat into a little corner. Where Covid was concerned it was a breeding ground, social distancing was not always adhered too. My drink was disgusting far too much grenadine too little orange juice. We, however, did enjoy the music. But we will never put our foot...
