Direct at river lek with a great view, this restaurant and bar is a really highlight. You can either relax for a small drink in leisurechairs or even hav a full diner with wine and desserts.You can watch the big ferry crossing always the river even with lorries and farms trucks onboard and/or see the wateractivities and big ship driving along the Lek. The food here is very good and tasty. It is absolute worth the price. We had salmonfilets and a vegan burger. Main dish is around 20€. Was there on a weekday, wanted to enjoy the location (had been there before). Thought the service was good, I found the food overpriced and not well prepared. I had a veal stake that was served practically plain, only some rucola, with badly cut French fries. Then, the desert particularly disappointed, as it was supposed to be pineapple with caramel and ice cream. Lekzicht gewent. Na afloop examen in Leiden naar Schoonhoven voor een lunch. Geen Lekzicht maar Rivero. Plaats en uitzicht fantastisch maar de lunchkaart niet. Weinig keus. De dame iets met zalm. Niets op aan te merken. De uitsmijter wel. Aangekondigd op witbrood bleek misschien grauw wit maar het leek en smaakte naar bruinbrood. De reactie van het bedienende meisje zal ik hier maar niet weergeven maar ze heeft nog een hoop te leren. Om peper en zout moeten vragen.... De uitsmijter werd koud geserveerd op een diep bord wat lastig eten dus maar dit mag de naam uitsmijter niet hebben. Dit waren drie sneden brood 😞 met kaas waarvan ik er één nog met ham kon bestellen met drie eieren. Niets geen garnituur die een uitsmijter zo lekker kan maken. Dit mag de naam uitsmijter niet voeren. Na mijn aanmerking over het brood niemand van de bediening langs geweest om te vragen of alles verder naar wens was. Ja. Bij het afrekenen.
