Decided to have a late lunch here with friends after a long walk. The restaurant was not busy, since all the group of kids did not have lunch there. The service is quite bad yesterday. Waited so long for our lunch, and the last order of drinks were never served. Nobody in sight to bring the bill, so I had to go inside where a surprised cashier did her job. I ate my carpaccio uijtsmijter, and I did not mind the fried eggs being overcooked (I expected sunny side up). The (store bought) chicken sate was ok. We did complain about the salad, which was ridiculously small for 12 euros, since you pay per added topping (1 euro for a few added pine nuts?). It was as big as the garnish of the 8 euro saté dish. The staff said that they did not have any complains about it in years, then the 'cook' defended herself again saying that she just started working there for two months. According to them, the portion of the salad is good. They ended up adding a few slices of bell peppers (0.50 euro extra). Lucky me to make the first complaint. Anyway, my tip for them is to just listen to the customers and take in the complains, solve it and move on! 40 minutes wait for lunch is also...

Vreselijke ervaring helaas. het was onze eerste keer hier 3 kwartier heen en weer terug gereden voor deze ballentent speciaal voor de onbeperkte spareribs die zouden hier heerlijk zijn .na de eerste portie(2 stukken met 4 ribbentjes) 5 keer opnieuw besteld maar werd steeds opnieuw niet gebracht na veel bijten op me tanden zat ik na 2 uur wachten toch echt op mijn tandvlees te kauwen en zijn we weggegaan situatie uitgelegd dames van de bediening schaamde zich kapot (die waren heel aardig) maar brachten ook weinig naar buiten eigenaar was erbij gehaald omdat ik enkel voor mijn drinken wou betalen aangezien het geen wat we gekregen hebben niet overeenkomt met de prijs die er voor staat (€20 voor onbeperkte spareribs )na wat discuseren 1 portie obeperkt plus het drinken afgerekend en aangegeven dat door hoe het word "opgelost" in zijn ogen niet de mijne dit ook gelijk de laatste keer is geweest zeer jammer aangezien het geen wat we hebben kunnen eten niet verkeerd was maar zo is het makkelijk verdienen nope wij komen...

Food was quite good! We enjoyed spare ribs and burgers of good quality and quantity, we couldn't even finish the whole plates we ordered. As we asked if we could take the remaining of food with us, I was handed paper bags to put my food in myself, in a serve-yourself kinda service... didn't...
