We are on holiday at Putten. I Googled Falafel 3 days ago and got this lovely place which is 75 KM away from us. On the way back from Geithoorn, we visited it. The taste of the food is exceptional, the location is accessible and the gentleman who works there is awesome. If you are nearby, give it a try. Trust me!! You will never regret it. Will come back again for sure.

Patat met mayo: vijf sterren. Ik ben 1.90m met evengrote eetlust en vond het portie uitstekend. Zowel van de patat als de mayonaise. Je krijgt compleet waar voor jouw geld op deze patatmarkt. Goede kwaliteit friet met een mayonaise die daarbij goed aanvulling geeft. Als patatgangster geef ik 5 van de 5 sterren, ook vanwege de kundigheid, bekwaamheid en bovenal rustige vriendelijkheid van de eigenaar zelf. Bedankt. PS. de portie kun je op de foto moeilijk inschatten vanwege geen referentiekader, alles is in werkelijkheid groter.

(H)eerlijke falafel, verse ingrediënten, 10/10 recommend! Ik had een pita broodje met falafel. Falafel was super crunchy (en totaal niet droog) en de hummus smaakte heerlijk romig. Verder was het broodje rijk gevuld met lekkere groenten zoals rode kool. Mijn moeder had een turkse linzensoep, die is ook zeker aan te raden! Personeel is super vriendelijk, perfecte locatie in het gezellige centrum van Meppel, er hangt een goede sfeer.

People working there and running the place share great passion for hospitality. Tried everything on the menu, it was all fresh and looked very tempting. It tasted even better - I can personally recommend the pita falafel and the hummus. Being there on a particularly rainy and cold day, I also appreciated the sweet potato and lentils soup - spot on suggestion.

Thank you very much for this experience - I highly recommend, and hope to see you guys even more busier next time! Stay safe...

Ik moest hier al een lange tijd heen.. maar elke keer kwam het net niet uit. Of had ik geen honger je kent het wel. Ieder geval gisterochtend was het tijd. De man volgens mij de eigenaar.. vriendelijk vlot en ondanks de ‘16’ wachtende voor ons liep alles mooi vlot door.

Toegegeven dat ik dus eigenlijk niet van kool houdt.. en ik meestal bij te veel groente op mijn pita of andere broodjes alles er van te voren al van af laat halen. Maar dit keer dacht ik, ik ga ervoor we doen is gek! Dus de twee pita’s falafel mee naar huis. Plus Fritz Kola ‘cola’ de beste Kola op de wereld.

Thuis begonnen we aan de traktatie voor onszelf. En een traktatie was het! Goede smaakcombinaties de rode kool met de sumak daarop is hemels zo lust ik mijn rode kool altijd wel! De falafel zelf een goede volle smaak niet droog gewoon lekker sappig. De pita zo wil je hem altijd! En dan de TAHINSAUS die maakt alles tot een geheel! Zodat de pita falafel een feest is in je...
