Royal China — Restaurant in Meppel

Decided to beat the Valentine's day rush and go on Monday to Royal China as it's one of the only restaurants open at the time. And it was worth it. The restaurant was completely empty and was an amazing atmosphere. The staff was super nice and the food was excellent. They allowed me to take home food in a takeaway container which made my lunch the next day also magical. The other thing I wished they had was a typical Chinese beer on tap but that is a personal preference. 10/10 would go again.

The food is absolutely amazing. We ordered online, the food was ready for the chosen pickup time. Everything was steaming hot when we got home.

The portions are really good and the flavours are making the experience even better. As a chef I am always on the lookout for new experiences in terms of food. Everything was really good and fresh. Best part is the rich duck soup👍🏻

Vanavond, 17 nov 2018 bij de afhaal geweest ivm plaatselijk werkbezoek. Restaurant was matig bezet tot tegenstelling van de afhaal. De ‘afhaalruimte’ ziet er zeer gelikt uit, dit mag gezegd worden. Bediening jonge school gaande meisjes die wat bijverdienen. (Kennen de horeca regels niet). De eigenaresse pakt het eten in. Maar goed, dan het eten. Her eten viel helaas zeer zwaar tegen. De combi; Daging Roedjak was zurig en verder erg neutraal. De Babipangang met ketjapsaus... tja zeer neutraal. Ketjap met niets, nada. Bij bestellen gevraagd of er een gesneden rode pepertje in kon. Nee, dat doen wij niet U kunt sambal krijgen. Zwaar teleurstellend dit. De saté ajam...waarom zou deze wel smaak hebben? Idd, niets van alles was lekker op smaak. De kok moest maar n’s op een cursus lekker koken. Dit was een eenmaling bezoek dus. Dikke pech van de uitgegeven €20,- Volgende keer ga ik het een dorp...
