We had to try this cafe in Willemstad as Betsie was my grandmother's name. The vibe was just fantastic, with a really bohemian feel to the decoration and furnishings. We tried their sandwich option and a toastie with herbal teas, all of which were extremely tasty. So tasty that it seemed rude not to try some of the cakes on offer, together with a coffee. Strong, hot and earthy coffee to accompany an exactly right crispy on top, squidgy in the middle brownie. Killer combination. As we exited this great little cafe we saw a board that proclaimed Betsie's philosophy........how do I like my eggs......in a cake off course! I could not put it better if I tried. Willemstad met gezin en een makkelijke hap of even warm worden met hot chocolate met slagroom en huisgemaakt gebak: nou, dan zit je hier precies "gebakken". Met het boys+hond zeer gastvrij ontvangen en lekkers besteld. Echt laagdrempelig in tegenstelling tot de wat luxere uitziende terrassen ad binnenhaven zelf. Dit ligt enkele meters terug en is de moeite waard! Leuk pand, met gevoel hip en warm ingericht, leuke zitjes en oa lekker gebak! Ik had mn trui ad jongste "uitgeleend" vd kou en moest in tshirt écht opwarmen!! Zoals beloofd ad eigenaresse deze review. Veel succes nog id toekomst met dit vrij nieuwe bedrijf, de start is er!
