This hotel is a converted home. Small and quaint. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower was a nice size and modern. ||Free parking in the back of the hotel is limited but good to have and Free WiFi was a plus.||My mistake was to eat in their dinning room. I was going to venture outside and try Italian but instead I decided to stay in the hotel. The dinning room was very nice, small and quaint with white table cloths and napkins. I ordered 3 types of Oysters which were okay. The natural and bloody mary oysters really lacked flavour. The gratin (cheese) oysters were excellent. After 20 minutes my soup showed up. It was red beets with a creamy blue cheese dollop on top. Very nice and tasty. Then 30 minutes went by and I kept giving my waiter a look. He was busy with locals and I was an outsider. Poor service. I had a glass of red wine but he never asked if I wanted a refill or if I wanted a glass of water. Finally my pork tenderloin sitting on top of lentils arrived. Absolutely no taste. It was boiled pork. No salt, no pepper, no garlic, no oregano, no nothing. I sprinkled pepper all over it to save it.||Breakfast was cheap. No buffet. No choice. The waiter brought a small basket of buns, a plate with 2 slices of cheese and 2 slices of ham and a boiled egg. The...

Read moreWhat a great hotel and a great village! We arrived as the sun came out after a misty cool day of cycling. We parked our bikes at the back and decided to have tea on the outside terrace. It was beautiful with nice gardens and manicured tree canopies. Might be trying that back home! The service was excellent throughout our entire stay. The room itself was very nice and well appointed. No complaints at all. Breakfast was table service which seemed special after several days of buffet. They served rolls, croissant, jams, yogurt, eggs, meat and cheese, the usual juice, coffee, tea etc... I actually think they did cappuccinos but I don't drink them so am not sure. Definitely would want to stay here again if I...
