We found this to be a comfortable, clean and good value hotel and enjoyed our stay here. We had a room on rhe 2nd floor with a fantastic view over the water and of the windmill. Very picturesque. ||You'll need to be good friends to stay in room 9, a twin room, because the bathroom is part of the bedroom with the shower and sink visible and the toilet just tucked behind a partition wall, no door. Having said that, it's very tastefully done and the room is very spacious and it didn't spoil anything for us. ||||We had dinner in the very comfortable restaurant which has indoor and outdoor seating and a great menu. Although they seem to specialise in fish, with live lobsters in tanks, there are vegan options on the menu, which we had, and they were delicious and beautifully presented, both main course and desert . The food and service is truly amazing, the chef is a legend, absolutely first class||We had Bao bun with prawns, tempura prawns, and for mains, a steak and flat fish. Superb||Wine menu is good, restaurant was busy , nice atmosphere, staff incredibly attentive ||Not cheap but is anywhere these days?||I have some faults||It was cold in the restaurant!||The stairs to the bedrooms are in my view dangerous ||A toilet without a door in a bedroom is not on, imagine ||The mattresses on the bed slid off the bed||The hanger , is in a terrible place ||Would I stay here again, absolutely, it’s a great location, great food, great staff, just spend some of your profits on solving the stair problem. ||Thanks to management and staff, for a...
