Far East Culinair City — Restaurant in Nieuwegein

Went out to eat some sushi with a friend,figured we should give this place a try. We were the only 2 people at the restaurant which was not a rare occasion during a workday evening in summer. The staff treated us really well, really friendly waiter in particular. The food was very good except for most of the "on the grill" dishes which unfortunately, get flattend with the spatulas untill all the moisture has left the meat and the dish becommes really tough. Sushi and side disches are great though. Decor seems pretty old and might be in need of a little refreshing.

Restaurant with as far as I could see no dine-in capabilities. Only take-away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is mediocre at best. I had fried siu mai instead of steamed. The char siew i've choosen doesn't look remotely like char siew. It looked pale and not roasted. In the distant there was a taste of it. They make their own chili oil which I definitaly recommend. Great taste but a bit pricy. Next time I visit this restaurant I'll stick to the traditional dutch...

I went here for AH promo, the food was ok but the service was quite disappointing despite the fact that they have so many staffs. They missed our order and left us waiting for almost an hour, when asked they just said that our order took longer to prepare only to come back 15 minutes later admitting that they forgot to enter our order in the system.
