I was so much looking forward to finally be eating here because vegan— what’s not to love, right?!
But was let down, tremendously…
We entered after placing our reservation a few hours prior, but had to find our own table because the waitress wasn’t coming over upon arrival— all fine, thus far, we found our name written on the chalkboards. But we had to actually ask for a waitress to take our order, after waiting for another 20 minutes…
The window table was cold, due to a draft, the chairs are very uncomfortable. The window sill was covered in spiders and clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a while, the toilet wasn’t very proper but luckily didn’t smell. And the food is way too overpriced…
Their own made iced-tea tasted sour, the beouf tasted like a burned sausage with soap (coriander) and let’s not mention the bitter and extremely sour tasting salad… the tempeh saté was dry and plain. The mashed potatoes and fries were delicious though!
I guess it all comes down to personal taste but to us this was not up to par. We will unfortunately not be returning here, I’m really sorry!!

Read moreVisited this place during the weekends with my girlfriend. Tati offered good service. The food was good, a nice middle ground between healthy food and comfort/junkfood.
The vegan quesadilla's were great, I had a nice big portion accompanied by a bit of greens with a few slices of roasted bell peppers and some tortilla chips.
The hamburger had a great taste, however it was a bit mushy which made it a bit harder to eat, also compared to other dishes this was a small dish and might've been better off accompanied by some side greens like the quesadilla had.
We ordered a side of fries which were great in taste, however even for the portion of fries that we received it was pretty expensive (€4,10).
To summarize, a great place to eat visit.
Pros: Lots of vegan food, great staff, good atmosphere.
Cons: Some dishes like the vegan burger and fries were kind of expensive. Pretty far from the...
Read moreA nice and cozy place outside of the buzzy areas in Nijmegen! We went there to just get a drink but in the end we ordered some cakes! We ordered, schwarszkirch chocolate cake, carrot cake and a lemon curd cake! Which all of them were good but the least favourite was the lemon one! So in summary: they have very good as tasty cakes and the drinks were good too! We had some Bock beer and coffee which both were really good! The service was alright, helpful and friendly folk that pretty much just leave you be when you have a drink so you can just chat along without getting "disturbed" which I find a really good thing!
I recommend this place, it's good for: small groups of people, people that just want to chat whilst having a cup of coffee or as a nice...
