Terra ROSSA — Restaurant in Nijmegen

Pizzas here are great. 1st visit was fantastic. 2nd time, food was good but overall experience was very poor. Saturday night so yes expectedly busy, understaffed and 1 poor guy on his first night waiting tables, delivering food , doing the bar and taking payments for bills.... there must have been at least 20 people dining... Took 1 hr for food to arrive, spent 3 quarters of the night with no drinks simply because the poor guy was overloaded... then a miscommunication where we asked to take a pizza home and it went in the bin. Spoke to manager and the attitude was in my opinion rather insensitive to the situation, with him describing it as a bit of a "clusterf**k"... not the kind of service you expect from a popular local business with a good reputation. The manager took €11 off the bill on request as compensation for the pizza going in the bin but overall i can't help feeling it was a very disappointing night. Discovered this restaurant on a rainy evening. Inside was cozy, not too busy, just the right atmosphere for a nice relaxed dinner. The service was friendly, the pizza decent, nothing that will change your life, but also not making it worse either. The real surprise came with the "Tiramisu. Overgrootmoeders geheim recept". Bad service, cold food and COCKROACHES!!! The worst restaurant experience in Nijmegen by far... Never go to this place

We were a 11 people group and were the only customers in the restaurant. We waited about 2 hours for our food. The risotto came cold and they re-heated it so much that is was disgusting. The staff seemed offended when we complained about the food being late and cold, and were very unfriendly. We found more several cockroaches: one crawling over me, on the table and on our coats.
