De Koetiller — Restaurant in Noordwijk

We were there for the Bloemencorso and arrived one hour before the start. We asked what we could eat that would be ready fast. The waitress said 'anything' and told us we will get on time for the bloemencorso, almost laughing at us for being so calculated. So we ordered ribs and 'zigeunerschnitzel' and before that, tomato and chicken soup. The soups arrived quite fast, the tomato soup was good, the chicken soup not so. However, to do the ribs and the schnitzel it took them 40 minutes - and it was not because we ordered soup before the main dish, as the waiting time between them was quite long. After the long waiting time the schnitzel was completely burnt and the ribs weren't too good either. Even when we reminded them that we were in a hurry and that they had said there is plenty of time, the waiters didn't seem to hurry. And we were indeed a bit late at the bloemencorso. I don't...

Favorite snackbar, has a lot of food, also the only one in the area with gluten-free snacks. Pretty low priced as well and my favorite a "broodje frikandel xxl oorlog" it is a 30cm long piece of meat with some mild spices in it, with mayonaise, curry, some peanut sauce and onions on 2 buns of bread. Costs like 6euros and it is kind of a big meal to order already. The people there are nice as well, very talkative...

Helaas gezien mooi buiten uitstraling en meestal drukte van de klanten binnen en rondom heb ik wat meer verwacht. Wel alleen 2x raspatat + kaassoufflé + blikje cola besteld. Rekening €12 vind ik toch te hoog. Blikje cola €2! Terwijl ze halen die zeker voor minder dan €0,5. Dan zit je op 300% marge. Onbegrijpelijk voor me. Ras patatjes van onbekende reden heel ERG vettig en ja, ik heb vaker raspatat op andere locaties gegeten. Wat ik dan nog heel erg moste was gewoon majo. In plaats van majo kan je genieten van de frietsaus. Ik zelf lust die zoetachtge saus niet. We worden helaas geen klant van...
