Oh my God, maybe the best dinner experience we had on our whole three-week European vacation.

First, Toko Lekki is an easy walk from the Leiden Hilton Garden Inn -- maybe the only walkable restaurant from the hotel.

Second, the owner is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. His wife is the chef, and as he says, "everything is made with love." I enjoyed talking with him.

This is the best Thai food I ever had out of Thailand. I have eaten Thai in many countries, and there usually is a local twist to the taste. However, this is a very authentic Thai food that tastes amazing. The flavors brought me back to the beautiful country that I visited a few times. We had a green Thai curry with beef tenderloin, chicken Pad Thai and chicken skewers with peanut sauce and all were spectacular. What a place! We ordered via phone and the owner gave us some menu tips and set the tone for a fun pickup. When first arriving at the pickup point, I was a bit skeptical. The place looks to be in temporary housing on the edge of a new residential area. But if you forget the run down look and focus on what you are doing there; boy can they prepare genuine tasting Thai food!
