Very pittoresk place to visit in a more than beautifull surrounding. Order a drink and maybe also something to eat. Only negative thing is the fact that they used a kind of wooden curls on the terrace ground what was causing a lot of dust and sneezing arround.

Tijdens een wandeling door de Oisterwijkse bossen en vennen, liepen we aan bij Boshuis Venkaai. Wat een leuke locatie en sfeer. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en het eten....wat een smaak explosie! Wij hadden naast een drankje, gekozen voor een lichte (althans dat dachten wij) lunch. Een heerlijke gerookte zalmsalade met asperges, ei, ricula sla en en een heerlijke dressing met daarnaast, dikke plakken boeren brood met roomboter. Het is dat het raar staat om je bord af te likken, maar anders hadden we dat echt gedaan. Wij hebben deze eetgelegenheid in onze favorieten toegevoegd. De eerst volgende keer dat wij weer eens in de buurt zijn, schuiven wij weer lekker aan bij Boshuis Venkraai!!
