Lemonade -food & drinks- — Restaurant in Raalte

Large and cozy restaurant with a lot of great drinks and dishes, very affordable too! Anything is available, from breakfast to dinner. I have been here many times before, but it seems Lemonade has recently changed their menu a bit.

The menu now includes a breakfast platter for €15 per person (available for 1 person, too). I loved their lunch platter, so I wanted to try the breakfast one too. It comes with avocado egg toast (choose white or brown bread), granola with yoghurt, and a pancake with custard, apple compote and fresh fruits, as well as a glass of orange juice! All dishes taste incredibly fresh and have a lot of flavor. I particularly liked the dressing on the avocado egg toast, the cinnamon in the granola, and the apple compote (again, with cinnamon) on the pancake. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, but note that you can only order the breakfast platter until 12pm.

The service is also very good. All personnel is kind and helpful.

A warm and welcoming place I would come back to. What made it special? First, the friendly owners. Second, a well rounded atmosphere, with beautiful interior design, someone had an eye for that. Third, the delicous food. Took a Buddha-Bowl together with a Falafelwrap, which was this type of bowl just wrapped. ;)

If you happen to be in Raalte check this place out by dining or Take-away. You will surely get a bang for a buck.

Wij hebben voor een flink bedrag aan cadeaubonnen gekregen voor Lemonade in Raalte, maar de manier waarop hiermee wordt omgegaan is allesbehalve klantvriendelijk.

Een paar weken geleden ging mijn moeder iets drinken, maar werd ze bij binnenkomst direct gewezen op het feit dat de keuken om 19:00 uur sluit. Hierdoor kon ze niks meer bestellen behalve een drankje. Toen ze wilde afrekenen met de cadeaubon, werd haar verteld dat ze geen geld terugkreeg op het resterende bedrag. Begrijpelijk als je alles kunt besteden, maar in dit geval was dat simpelweg niet mogelijk. Na veel aandringen kreeg ze uiteindelijk met pijn en moeite een nieuwe bon met het restant.

Vandaag ging ik er zelf eten en wilde het resterende bedrag van de bon gebruiken. Weer werd er moeilijk gedaan, en dit keer kregen we helemaal geen nieuwe bon voor het bedrag dat overbleef. Volgens de medewerkers was dat “nu eenmaal de regel”.

Dit klopt niet. Een ondernemer is misschien niet wettelijk verplicht om geld terug te geven op een cadeaubon, maar wél verplicht om je het volledige bedrag te kunnen laten besteden. Als dat niet in één keer lukt, hoor je een nieuwe bon te krijgen of een andere oplossing aangeboden te krijgen. Denk alsjeblieft 3x na voordat je hier een...
