Bali Indonesia — Restaurant in Roermond

The establishment has a new look, much nicer look since a year or so. The food and service are as fantastic as ever.

My opinion of this place has only been bolstered. The food and service go beyond any other Indonesian restaurant I've ever tried. The portions are huge and of great quality while still very affordable. At other places I have spent double what they charge here only to receive a third of the portion I get served at Bali Indonesia in Roermond. Seriously. This is the best place for Indonesian food by a long shot, ever!

Take a detour if you must. Trust me. It is worth the extra effort!

2019 review Hands down the best Indonesian food I've ever had. I've tried everything on the menu and it is all excellent. The seasoning is great and they don't skimp on the portions too! You really can't go wrong here and I can't stress enough that, if you're somewhat in the vicinity, you just make that detour and eat here.

Came all the way from California and found this resteraunt on my way to Roermond from Maastricht. After biking 60 kilometers it was the perfect end to a tiring day! The mix of sweet and spicy of the beef and the chicken was to die for. The three person meal had supple portions, a great mix of offerings, and there wasn't a single item I would change! Met het Openbaar Vervoer naar Roermond om de Designer Outlet te bezoeken. Het was gezellig druk en voor ieder wat wils. Wij wilden de dag afsluiten met een Indische maaltijd. Onze keuze viel op Bali Indonesia. Buiten kwamen de heerlijke geuren ons tegemoet. Wij werden ontvangen door een vriendelijke gastvrouw die ons het concept uitlegde. Na onze bestelling te hebben doorgegeven, nam ik de zaak wat beter tot mij. Wij hebben hier te maken met een mooi ingerichte zaak die bestaat uit een afhaal- en een restaurant-gedeelte. Helemaal op z'n Oosters ingericht. Heel mooi. Het eten werd opgediend bestaande uit 3 porties GadoGado met lontong, 3 porties kipsaté (verrukkelijk), rijst met rendang en tempè goreng. En uiteraard met kroepoek en sambal. Het smaakte allemaal voor-treffelijk. Na deze voortreffelijke maaltijd zouden wij met het OV richting NS-station afreizen. De eigenaar, Galak, hoorde dat wij van het OV gebruik moesten maken, en zei "als jullie 5 minuutjes kunnen wachten, dan breng ik jullie!" Wat een service! Niet alleen verwend worden met heerlijk eten, maar dan ook nog als VIP behandeld worden, dat maak je zelden mee. Je kunt je voorstellen dat wij bij Bali Indonesia zeker terug zullen komen, en wil je jezelf ook verwennen met heerlijk Indisch eten dan kan ik je Bali Indonesia van harte aanbevelen.
