Small hotel in Roermond 1km from the city center. Comfortable, clean and very quiet rooms. Continental breakfast is served from 8-10 am each day. The best without a doubt is its restaurant with Italian cuisine. Every week they have a set menu at a very good price, but the best thing is its quality and taste. Fresh products, the simply delicious prawn linguine, the very soft vegetable lasagna with an exquisite tomato sauce that I recommend trying. Dessert; Red fruit tartlets with a very rich crunchy base, so delighted. They have a back garden where you can enjoy dinner on summer nights. They also have a pub in the front of the hotel with a terrace on both sides, without a doubt this small hotel-restaurant surprises with quality, flavor of its dishes and price. Even though it was outside the centre of Roermond, I choose this hotel due to the reasonable price compared to other hotels in the centre and also it being relatively close to the Pieterpad long distance walking path. The room was clean with own private bathroom with spacious shower and the bed was comfortable. I did miss however not being able to make tea or coffee and a minus point for the elderly or people with a handicap, is that there is no lift available I had dinner in the restaurant and price quality was good with very large portions. Very good food, chef knows what he is doing. Pasta is perfect,sauces in particular are great, very finely balanced. Fresh ingredients and fairly priced considering location and quality.

Service at the table was superb; attentive,quick, friendly. Very professional but in a familiar kind of way. Interior is interesting let's say ... butter this place has got the right priorities good food and service... Interior is surplus a nice to have and you can always call it charming or quirky :)
