Durum Evi — Restaurant in Rotterdam

They're Wraps according to my husband is ok... my opinion.. its dry and the Wraps is even dryer and super thick. I've orderd the chicken with rice and yoghurt this time.. first of all.. there was no yoghurt, and second. The chicken was so frkn watery and disgusting, never have I ate something so disgusting before. This is my last time ordering there. They took it out straight from the freezer.. they didn't even cooked it.. just defrost it and warmed it up in the mixrowave.. i tried to change my order right after.. they said they cant change it, cuz its already almost done! I said what?? In 30 seconds?? He said, our food are 50% prepared already..i was like WOOOOWWW.. its definitely not fresh! I find it so incredibly disgusting. It was a horror show in my mouth. I'm sorry... even they're very friendly.. the food is just to disgusting. That's why the 2 stars for the friendliness. Never ever again! I tried to order I was waiting for more than an hour and a half. They told me that the Uber is not coming, and it will take 3 minutes more for the Uber to arrive. I waited another 20 minutes then I called back only to tell me that the Uber driver is not there yet. They didn’t inform me properly and they didn’t care as a restaurant. Very unprofessional as they didn’t care for me that I was waiting for my order. The least they could do is call me on time and inform me about it and not having me wait and try to get in touch with them. A complete disappointment. A very decent restaurant with an unique take on Turkish barbecue cuisine. I don't know many other Turkish restaurants with a similar concept in the West of Rotterdam in this price range. The taste of the food is good and the quality of the ingredients is fresh.

It is definitely aiming to provide a more casual dining experience rather than being a fast food place, which is quite unique for Turkish food places in this part of the city. The price of the products is a bit higher than expected compared to the quality of some menu items, but their slightly more expensive menu is well motivated by the freshness and more premium dishes and cooking techniques...
