In den berkebrom — Restaurant in Rotterdam

One of the oldest restaurants in The Netherlands where you are received by your hosts John & Gerardine and their team. It’s very much a (Eetcafé) Bistro, with some bar seating and a limited menu. But we were impressed with the quality of the food, proudly prepared by John. There are three areas of seating, the main area, with two tables near the front windows, then a seating area near the door, which is separate from the main area, and then when the temperature is right, there is at the back also a covered outside area. We were at the area by the door, which I don’t think is the nicest area of the restaurant.

Geweldig gastvrije ontvangst, allervriendelijkste gastvrouw, ook voor de hond (zalmkoekje). Huiselijke inrichting, je voelt je meteen op je gemak! Het gebouw bestaat al 400 jaar, dat ademt sfeer uit! Wij zaten gevieren aan een fijn zittende ruime tafel, en de antipasti, ossenhaaspuntjes, kipsaté en eendenborst smaakten heerlijk! Goede prijs- kwaliteit verhouding.
