A beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and great food and wine!
Il Capo is beautifully decorated and has a great vibe. We had lunch and had wine with sandwiches, that were delicious! They make the bread themselves, it's perfectly crunchy and super tasty. All ingredients are fresh, it's definitely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Not comparable with other lunch rooms at all!
They have a good wine card and the Rosé Pinot Grigio is great. The staff was super nice and kind, and came to check on us regularly, making sure we had everything we need.
It's a pity I live so far away, otherwise Il Capo would be my go-to spot for lunch and dinner.

We sat down on a bench infront of frietboutique asked the frietboutique if it was ok the our kids ordere pizza from il capo and we would definitely order icecream after they were ok. We wanted to order pizza from il capo but unfortunately with such an unfriendly attitude they refused to serve us. They said we cannot sit at this table and be served because its for frietboutique. We are shocked by the attitude and little to no understanding for the kids. We stood up took ice cream to go and wont be visiting ever again. Shame that the word gastvrijheid doesnt mean...
Read moreIl Capo is a fantastic spot for a cosy, delicious Italian lunch. The exposed brick walls and soft furnishings make for a warm atmosphere, and the friendly staff add to the charm. Their lemonade and aranciata (orange soda) are refreshing, and the coffee is top-notch. The real star, though, is the warm sandwiches/ciabattas. The Salami Milano is a family favourite, but the Pollo and Mortadella options are also excellent. The bread is quite unlike anything I've ever tasted and really, really delicious. In summer, their outdoor seating makes it perfect for an alfresco lunch....
