Delicious Pizza for a fair price in great atmosphere. Ordered the specialty of the house - the Marco Polo. Pizza contained many ingredients in a variation i never had before, but except olives i enjoyed everything (but olives are never my friend). 1 pizza is around 33cm (according to the menu) and was definitely big enough to fill me up. Fortunately i came late at night before they closed the restaurant, so the atmosphere was more quiet. Also got a chance to talk to the owner, who is a very friendly and down to earth guy. Whenever we order pizzas or pasta we order here via thuisbezorgd and have done for many years. This evening we ordered a pizza and spaghetti bolognese which is what we usually order. The pizza was delicious but we had to throw out the spaghetti; it was dry and tasted really strange, quite tasteless and almost sour. Also the spaghetti noodles themselves were too soft. This is the first time we have experienced this at Marco Polo. A lengthy menu with a lot of pizza options. A huge takeout volume, riders are creating a good traffic. The seating area is nothing fancy, but basic, serving its purpose. We’ve made reservations considering the Friday fact, but was unnecessary since there were only one more occupant couple. Pizzas were also ok.
