Brasserie Pompidou - 1e Etage — Restaurant in Stichtse Vecht

I'm not one to write reviews after multiple visits, but this place deserves it. So here's a more comprehensive take on my experiences so far!

The food here is the real deal – I've tried three dishes from their warm menu, and each left a lasting impression. The bacon burger is an absolute winner, saving me from a 15-minute trek to McDonald's whenever I crave a burger in Maarssen. Plus, it's conveniently located in the shopping mall right next to the station. Juicy and flavorful – a must-try if you're around. And hey, the prices won't break the bank either.

Another highlight was the Clubtosti – a loaded toasted sandwich with a burst of flavors. Imagine cheese, chicken, ham, bacon, cucumber, and tomato slices coming together in a heavenly fusion. You bet I'll be coming back for more of this goodness!

The 'luxurious' chicken nuggets were decent – real chicken, perfectly fried, and deliciously juicy. While they didn't blow my mind like the other dishes, they still satisfied my craving for some good old nuggets.

The restaurant is split into two sections – an outdoor area overlooking the shopping mall's inner square and a bright, clean indoor space that exudes a traditional diner vibe. I prefer the outdoor spot, chilling while people-watching.

Top-notch service! Quick, efficient, and friendly – they got it right each time I visited.

Now, there are a couple of areas where they could improve. The garnish served with the dishes felt a bit uninspired and dry. I'd love to see some fresh veggies with a touch of dressing to spruce things up.

And about the orange juice – it was too sweet for my liking, giving off a store-bought vibe. They could consider sourcing fresher juice from a local supplier; the supermarket nearby has great options.

Vandaag voor de tweede keer bij Pompidou erg lang moeten wachten op ons eten. Deze keer waren ze onze bestelling vergeten, net als de vorige keer een aantal weken geleden. Dit kan toeval zijn. Maar het was fijn geweest als hier een oplossing voor geboden werd. Echter volgens medewerkers/eigenaar is het niet ongewoon lang te wachten op broodjes.
