Havenzicht Texel — Restaurant in Texel

This is hotel has a great location on the dike of the harbour, which gives the room we stayed in views of harbour, sea an town including the beautiful windmill. The rooms are large and well equiped with TV and small kitchen for coffee and tea. We stayed in "de schapenboet" which is one of the two rooms and which probably has the best view. The bathroom is large with a good size spa bath. ||The restaurant downstairs is run by the owners and has a simple menu but the staff is very friendly and helpfull. We requested some cheese for a late night snack and they made a good size platter.||The breakfast is served in the rooms with a breakfast basket. We spent 2 nights in this hotel. It is actually a restaurant that has 2 rooms upstairs. The room was beautiful, new, large enough for the 4 of us, very clean and with an amazing view on the port. The bathroom has a shower and a whirpool tub! Breakfast is served in the room inside a nice basket plenty of yummy food. The owner was very nice and friendly. We had booked and shown to our table. Menu stated clearly that if you have allergies the chef will ensure you can enjoy your meal. But when we let them know one guest could not eat garlic they said sorry every single item has been pre prepared WITH garlic and there was no way at all that they could assist.
