De Chinese Muur Den Haag — Restaurant in The Hague

So me and my family have been coming here for more than 17 years! It’s our go to place for our birthdays since childhood! Now that I’m older and I’m able to observe more than before, I have some pros and cons!

Pros:

Huge variety of buffet and everyone can choose for something to eat!

Nice ambience, especially the lively man who plays the piano!

Good for families, friends and actually anyone!

Good location and easy to find!

Cons:

So I recently went here again and I must say the staff and waiters are so unfriendly!! They seem like they don’t care that your there and have no interest to make your evening better!! I really suggest to bring a change to that, because you will lose long term customers just because of that!! I can’t think of any other con that I can’t bear. One thing I admire about this restaurant is the consistency to provide quality food, regardless of the servings or regardless of the day. With the variety of meat options, to seafood, to vegetarian, no matter what you choose you’re guaranteed to have a flavourful experience.

It feels good to sot down somewhere that’s not too loud, has a great ambiance, clean, and offers a range of different food to serve up plate after plate. Highly recommended visit for a great dine-in experience whether you’re with just one person or something to do in a group for a celebration of just a nice night out.

The only thing I find a pity is not having dessert as part of the menu as this is an ad on that you have to pay for outside of the buffet. Other than that, good value for...

Dutch on the outside and Asian on the inside thats what this restaurant seems to aim for. However, as much appreciated, a man singing and swinging songs as added live entertainment is extremely Dutch and made me wondering if I should get ready for the polonaise or enjoy the food.

The food is simply a disaster mix of all of Asia. The live cooking isn’t as much as a show as the guys seem to compete to make as much different food as possible on the same grill rather than quality.
