I have never walked out of a restaurant before in my life. I have returned to the Evo pizzeria with my girlfriend, some months after we had already been there with a group of friends. It is important to note that on that occasion, one of our friends had left a negative review on the restaurant due to a bad interaction he had had with the restaurant owner. Nonetheless, we decided to give the restaurant a second chance: we were soon proven wrong.
As soon as we sat, the owner impolitely put the menus on our table, without even greeting us or looking us in the eyes. Around 10 seconds later, he comes back and asks if we are ready to order with a rather annoyed tone. Only when I ask him if everything was okay, he starts recounting how badly my friend’s review had hurt his restaurant, at this point his colleague reaches our table and we are surrounded by them trying to explain how the situation with our friend had just been a “misunderstanding”.
Now, I believe my friend had written a true review, but even if the owner had wanted to clarify his point of view on it today, he did this in the rudest way: you cannot mistreat clients, slam the menu on them, not greet them, aggressively speaking about a review that another person has written about the restaurant, and above all making us feel cornered and unwelcome.
I am sorry if bad reviews hurt the restaurant’s reputation, but perhaps such reputation could be improved by improving the staff behavior, rather than by harassing costumers about reviews.
What happened was unprofessional and unacceptable. I would have not written this review if the owner had not behaved in such a shameful and aggressive way. But no worries about any more bad reviews, as I will not be coming back...

The owner looked like he'd rather be anywhere else and barely acknowledged us before tossing menus onto a sticky, unclean table. We waited forever for a server to show up, and when they finally did, they seemed annoyed that we dared to exist.
The food? A joke. It took over an hour to arrive, and when it did, it was cold, bland, and looked like it had been thrown together by someone who hates food. I wouldn’t be surprised if they microwaved it. We had to beg for tap water refills, and even then, they acted like it was an inconvenience.
To top it all off, they overcharged us and then argued when we pointed it out. No apology, no attempt to fix it, just attitude. This place is a complete disaster, save your time, money, and sanity by going literally...
