well...here's my response to your response. try reading what i said. see the part where i said you seemed like a good restaurant? there were 3 things i wanted that you were out of. yes. my bad luck. and part of that was the lack of communication between your staff...something i didn't mention in the original review below...after ordering the swordfish, it took around 10 minutes for one of the waitresses to come out and tell me that you were out of swordfish...i already understood all that you said in your response...but i'm sure that was more for the rest of the people who may read my review in the future. again. it seems like a good place to eat. i just chose the wrong night/time to do so...so it goes.

i can't really write a review since i didn't get to eat. i planned on seeing two movies in Scheveningen and thought i'd also have dinner somewhere...when i was about to make a reservation here i noticed that there was a 20% discount for reservations made after 8:30p...i was oRIginally going to eat beTWEEN the two movies but then decided to eat AFter the second... so i rode over to the restaurant and...they were out of everything that i wanted...it SEEMED like a good place to eat, don't get me wrong here...and the waitress was very nice. apologetic... but i just wanted people to know that if you DO reserve after 8:30, you might run into this problem... if i ever DO go back there i'll make sure to make an earlier reservation... and to the owner who leaves comments after the reviews? please don't. the explanations were already given to me when i was there. my mistake for making a late...

We came here to celebrate my partners birthday and it was a truly amazing dinner. It was a calm evening (probably due to the bad weather) and we had the restaurant almost to ourselves. The family who owns the restaurant is very friendly and even surprised us with a birthday song and ice cream. But they are not only friendly, they also have such good and fresh seafood! We actually never had a seafood plancha as delicious as this one and also the main dishes were made with much love and skill. We definitely come back if we return to...

We were lucky to get a table for two on short notice and ended up having an absolutely wonderful evening. Our waitress was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and her recommendations were perfect, especially the red wine. We started with the deluxe appetizer platter, which was so delicious that we ordered it partly again, and the main courses were equally impressive.

The combination of excellent food, warm service, and a relaxed atmosphere made this one of the best seafood dining experiences we’ve ever had. Highly...
