We went to Cafe Bakker to get something to eat before heading to Ben Howard on Sunday 10th and we left quite disappointed.
The waiter was nice and the drinks came out fast. Their food menu seemed very limited (mostly deep fried snacks and burgers)
We ordered 2 burgers (chicken kimchi burger and a truffle burger) with a portion of fries to share. It took around 40 minutes for the food to get to our table, the truffle burger was cold (the patty was very thick and it felt rubbery) and the chicken kimchi burger was burning hot but the chicken was brown (like it had been forgotten in the oil) and the batter was falling apart. The fries were super dry too and overall our experience was not so nice.

8,80€ for a pint of Texels Skuumkoppe is a lot. 17,50€ for a burger with fries is just pure theft. The burger was okay. But. Just okay. The quality would justify maybe half the price. I've never paid that much for a very simple burger. Not even for a very fancy burger.
