Het Pannenkoekenfort-Uithoorn — Restaurant in Uithoorn

My mother in law wanted to take us out for a pannenkoek for a change. Saturday evening at the Pannenkoekefort, full of family's with young children, enjoying the 'Peter Pan' experience. We, on the other hand, we're not quite so happy! Drinks arrived fairly quickly, the meals for the five of us took almost an hour! My brother in laws salami pancake had no salami. My wife pancake was cold, and my pancake was a disaster! I asked for a Salon pancake which included, kibab meat, salad and chip along with a garlic and an onion sauce. What I didn't expect was to have every thing in one pancake! Chips and salad plus cheese on top then heated! To top it all almost no kibab meat. It was unedable. The whole thing was a disaster. Added to that two supposed sauses. One, a garlic mayo and secondly an onion sauce, which was not a sauce but an onion salad. The whole experience was nightmare never to be tried again. Nice place, delicious pancakes, reasonable price and friendly waitresses. A unique place built inside a fortress. Cool experience. Since it's inside a fortress, there is no phone reception inside, so we can go back to how it supposed to be, communicating with other people instead of everyone being busy with...

Naar afloop van een gezellige avond. Wij hadden 4 pannekoeken besteld. 1 pannekoek terug gestuurd omdat deze verbrand smaakte. Meisje in de bediening nam het keurig aan en vertelde het aan de keuken. Daar kreeg ze een sneer en werdt haar verteld dat dit niet mogelijk was. Het is helemaal.niet verbrand hoor ik hem nog uit de keuken roepen. Meisje kwam dit netjes aan ons vertellen. Toch apart dat je als eigenaar/kok dit niet zelf met de klanten opneemt. Ik ben toen naar de keuken gelopen en heb mijn ongenoegen geuit. Dat je niet je personeel zo'n sneer geeft. Dat je nooit hard op waar ook andere klanten bij zijn aangeeft dat de klant geen gelijk heeft. Vreselijk. Duidelijk hebben ze wat te leren! Jammer dat de avond zo heeft...
