Indian Food Corner — Restaurant in Utrecht

We were excited to have this Indian Restaurant so close by. Last night we placed our first order at around 16.00 - 16.30 and asked for it to be delivered at 18.30.

At 19.00 we phoned as the delivery hadn't shown up, they checked with the delivery person and phoned us back to say there was a miscomunication and would arrive any minute, it was almost 19.30 when it arrived and the food was only just warm.

Then on top of that were disappointed with what we had received. We had ordered the Lam Saag, (no spinach to be seen) and I ordered Rogen Josh (no tomato or onion to be seen) my portion was very small, it was a few small pieces of meat in a watery sauce . I have eten Rogen Josh in many Indian restaurants over the years and this didn't look or taste like any that I have eten before.

I am glad to read that there are people that have enjoyed their food from this restaurant, but for us we were left feeling very upset and...

We were excited to try this restaurant, the newest addition to the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. We had scheduled delivery for 6:00 PM, but our order arrived at 5:20 PM — not late, but far too early, forcing us to reheat the food. That, however, could have been overlooked if the food had been good. Sadly, it was anything but. This was, without a doubt, the worst Indian food we’ve ever had. We’ve tried butter chicken and lamb korma from various Indian restaurants in Utrecht and Amsterdam, and this was by far the least flavorful, lacking spice and authenticity. It felt like an insult to the rich culinary heritage of Indian cuisine. We will never order from here again and certainly cannot recommend...

Absolutely horrendous food, full of tomato ketchup/sauce.Being an Indian, it absolutely horrified me that such restaurants continuously brand themselves as 'Indian' but fail to live up even remotely to the name. PLEASE DONT ORDER BEFORE READING THIS REVIEW. I ordered 3 dishes, all were so terrible, that I had to make something myself because it just wouldn't go down my throat. Butter chicken IS NOT BUTTER CHICKEN. it's some weird tomato soup based chicken dish, where the chicken isn't cooked either. I had to make a black bean gravy and have with it because no amount of salt fixed the tomato sweetness. 🤮🤮 Dahi bhalle, or another streetfood. Too much salt, no sweet chutney added either. Lamb biryani: I'm too scared...
