It's imperative this business starts by training it's staff and getting it's kitchen organised. Table numbers would be a good start. You have a fantastic location, get the help and training to get the food and service up to par and it will be a winner for you.

Our experience there was really terrible and I don't often say this. It wasn't busy at all, but after three visits by the staff, we finally received our menus. After finally receiving our drinks, we waited for the waitress so long that we never ended up ordering food. Paying was a challenge too. I stood at their counter for several minutes. Niet voor het eerst in Valkenswaard maar wel voor het eerst een nachtje overblijven dus restaurant opgezocht die er overigens legio zijn op de markt. Uiteindelijk op het terras van Barcode terecht gekomen. Gestart met een voortreffelijke IPA en daarna een diner genomen. De tataki was erg verrassend. Ik heb vervolgens de salade van de chef genomen en als dessert de scropino. Een espresso met een sambuca om alles af te ronden. Kortom erg lekker gegeten tegen een wel heel vriendelijke prijs. Eindelijk eens een chef die een salade niet verzuipt in allerlei sausjes en dergelijke. Tja en de tataki was zo verrassend dat ik enkel een leeg bord kon fotograferen. Overigens de bediening is prettig, vlot met een lichte nonchalance. Als ik een opmerking mag maken ? Een lichte toasting van het brood bij de salade had heel mooi gepast. Maar de scropino...
