KFC — Restaurant in Vlaardingen

KFC Vlaardingen-- They have a good atmosphere there, it's comfortable, the temperature is ideal especially upstairs, but the upstairs area is only open after 2pm. They have two bathrooms, three to be more specific, one for everyone downstairs and two upstairs, one for women and one for men. Unfortunately, the upstairs area is inaccessible to wheelchair users as it can only be accessed via a staircase in the center. The place is always clean, including the bathroom, the cleaning service does a good job. KFC Vlaardingen has several problems, one of them is accessibility, despite being located in a strategic place right on the border of Schiedam and Vlaardingen, it is difficult to access the place on foot or by bike as you will have to cross the motorway at least twice. The main negative point of this place is the time it takes for people to receive their orders. The estimated delivery time for an order is 20 to 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on the time and especially the day, since Fridays and Saturdays are the days that take the longest to deliver orders. I have seen several times a customer getting stressed or asking for their money back because of the excessive delay. I spoke to the workers and I don't think the delay in orders is because of the workers themselves but rather the management. In my opinion, the place is poorly managed. With so much to be done, the workers get lost and end up getting distracted. In ideal management, everyone would be assigned to a specific function in which each one would focus only on their duties, but unfortunately there are many things to be done and few workers to do it. I believe that the number of workers depends on the budget for the day, but reducing the number of workers ends up negatively affecting the service...

Staff wanting to work, even telling her that she will please speak to me in English she insisted on speaking Dutch to me. From outside you can see the kitchen, And you can see that they don't use gloves to touch food... These places are famous for being quick to attend to people, because this is the opposite, even if there are two people waiting for my order to take 20 minutes, a catastrophe.... But the most serious thing was when I found a hair on the chips... Really, that local with so little prepesionality... I didn't want to change my fried legs because I didn't feel like waiting another 20 minutes. A pity... Because I really like the food From KFC, I don't come back to this...

Mijn bezoek aan de KFC-vestiging in Vlaardingen was helaas zeer teleurstellend en stond in schril contrast met hetgeen men van een internationale horecaketen mag verwachten.

Bij het plaatsen van twee afzonderlijke bestellingen via de bestelautomaat heb ik expliciet gekozen voor bezorging aan tafel. Tot mijn verbazing werd deze instructie volledig genegeerd: het tafelnummer werd luidkeels omgeroepen door een medewerker die nauwelijks Nederlands sprak. Dit zorgde niet alleen voor verwarring, maar gaf bovendien een onprofessionele indruk.

Daarnaast werden de twee bestellingen met een aanzienlijk tijdsverschil geserveerd, met als gevolg dat één van ons al klaar was met eten terwijl de ander nog moest beginnen. Een dergelijke gang van zaken is niet klantvriendelijk en had eenvoudig voorkomen kunnen worden met een betere planning.

De wijze waarop de bestelling werd overhandigd, was op zijn minst onbehoorlijk te noemen. Het dienblad werd zonder enige vorm van communicatie of oogcontact ruw op de balie neergezet, waarna de medewerker direct vertrok. Deze benadering getuigt van een gebrek aan respect voor de klant.

Wat betreft de kwaliteit van het voedsel: de kip was enigszins smaakvol, maar zeker niet uitzonderlijk. De grootste zorg betrof echter de staat van de toiletruimte, die door een verstopping overstroomd was. Bezoekers werden gedwongen door het water te lopen, terwijl er niemand aanwezig was om deze onhygiënische situatie op te lossen.

Gezien de opeenstapeling van gebreken op het gebied van service, organisatie en hygiëne, kan ik niet anders concluderen dan dat deze vestiging ver onder de maat presteert. Dit was helaas de minst positieve ervaring die ik tot nu toe bij een...
