Lunchroom Hof 7 — Restaurant in Waalre

So the first time ever I ordered the food from this place. Delivery time was set to be almost 2 hours on which I called the restaurant to cancel the order. They said I needed to call thuisbezorg to cancel the order. As I didn’t feel to hustle with it I just figured “just let it be and wait for food”. 3h later food still isn’t in. I’ve called them again and the lady said “you called to cancel so we didn’t make the food” despite order has still been active and not canceled by my side.

Basically the way they work is they’ll keep (in my case) 30-40eur worth of order and will not deliver the food.

I had contact afterwards with thuisbezorg and as confirmed this is absolutely not the way.

Als je binnenkomt dan ziet het er gezellig uit. Er is niet direct aandacht voor je. Zelf naar de kassa achterin gelopen om te vragen of er plek voor twee was. Konden ergens plaats nemen. Drankbestelling werd vlot opgenomen en gebracht. Voor het eten kregen we een menu kaart, vervolgens werden we vergeten. Ondertussen hoorde we de medewerkers wel met elkaar praten over het gebrek aan leiding en de chaos die er deze dag was. Zelf na enige tijd gevraagd of we bestelling mocht opgeven en gedaan bij bediening. Helaas is onze bestelling ( tosti en salade) niet in de keuken terecht gekomen. Als compensatie werd tosti vanuit het huis aangeboden. Netjes.

Tosti was zoals een tosti kan zijn. Carpaccio salade was veel sla. Het was het allemaal net niet.
