They are located in the beautifully repurposed old Mercedes-dealer building on the corner of the street in Wassenaar. Came here a few times already since they opened. Ive noticed in the beginning that the staff treats you a bit different sometimes which made me uncomfortable. However I've seen the restaurant grow in staff and service to a very good restaurant. Had a lovely dining experience last week with a very good and attentive waitress (my sincere compliments to the girl with red hair) This restaurant can offer an exceptional dining experience that combines fantastic food, a great atmosphere, and excellent service.

We went there to celebrate a family event. The restaurant is quite dimly light which is nice for a romantic evening but certainly not of you have issues with your eyesight (forget about adjusting your make-up in the bathroom as well). Food was quite ok, however the culinary experience was somewhat ruined by the dessert. We had a grand dessert to share, that was presented on a wooden board. Great idea, unless you also use this board for presenting meat on other occasions, which was the case for our wooden board. Thus we had the unique opportunity to taste barbecue smelling and tasting chocolate and vanilla ice-cream and biscuits. Service was quite ok, if we don't consider offering lemony hand rincing water or wet-tissues a must when being served mules. So we ended up washing our hands in the toilet then walked back with dripping hands to our tables, because the hand dryer was out of order and nobody had been aware of the existence of...

Wij plaatsen normaal nooit slechte reviews want we weten dat het soms mis kan gaan. Personeel kan een slechte dag hebben. Ik heb nu ook even gewacht of er nog contact met ons werd opgenomen voordat ik dit zou doen. We hadden voor 19sept een tafel voor 6 gereserveerd. Bij aankomst werd er gezegd dat we aan het ronde ding in de hoek konden plaats nemen door de “manager”. Na wat drankjes besteld te hebben, heb ik 6 voorgerechten en 6 hoofdgerechten besteld. Brood kwam als eerste na een minuut of 10. Daarna bleven de rest van de voorgerechten uit, het was redelijk druk dus we hebben gewoon gewacht. Ongeveer 45-60 min nadat we besteld hadden kwamen ze ineens de voor en hoofdgerechten tegelijk brengen. Dus meteen aan de ober die onze bestelling had opgenomen gevraagd wat eraan de hand was. Hij zei dat dat hij een vergissing had gemaakt. Dit kan gebeuren. Hij ging even kijken of er iets gedaan kon worden. Hierna aan de manager doorgegeven dat dit niet kan. Hij zegt dat hij de bestelling niet heeft opgenomen en dat hij de hoofdgerechten niet later kan serveren. En hij gaat doodleuk aan tafel de steak tartaar klaarmaken. Hij vraagt niet eens hoe wij deze willen! Wij hadden alle steaks medium rare besteld, wat we altijd doen. De Ribeyes waren goed, de chateaubriand was koud in het midden ik heb een stuk voor hem afgesneden en laten voelen. Hij durft nog doodleuk te zeggen dat het zo hoort. Het enige wat hij ons aanbood was een fles water. Uiteindelijk hebben we wat gegeten en daarna afgerekend. De ober heeft nog zijn excuses aangeboden en de drankjes van de bon gehaald. Maar niks van de manager gehoord. Zo’n slechte service heb ik nog nooit...
