Met een groep collega’s kwamen we in deze zaak. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en naar onze tafel gebracht. Op tafel stonden heerlijke olijven maar ook boter en een hele lekkere mayonaise voor het warme brood. De rode huiswijn was goed. Omdat een aantal van ons niet lang kon blijven, besloten we om het de keuken makkelijk te maken en voor ons allemaal hetzelfde hoofd- en nagerecht te bestellen. Bij het serveren werd keurig uitgelegd wat er op het bord lag; het hoofdgerecht bestond uit een zeer mals stuk gegrild Amerikaans rundvlees, onder andere voorzien van een pittige spruitjespuree. Heel lekker! Het nagerecht was een soort parade van ijs, brownie en cake en vormde een smakelijk geheel.
